Edith Chapin is a French director and writer known for character-driven documentaries focused on cinema, sports, and contemporary social issues.

Her recent work includes Anatomy of a Fall: The Rise of Justine Triet (Canal+, 2024), a behind-the-scenes documentary exploring the creative process behind the Oscar-winning film Anatomy of a Fall (Best Original Screenplay).

In 2022, she co-wrote Nadia, a Canal+ original documentary following Afghan refugee and Paris Saint-Germain footballer Nadia Nadim. The film had an international festival run and received a nomination at the International Emmy Awards.

Additional credits include Motoball (France Télévisions, 2023), an immersive documentary set in rural Eastern France, and Sex Is Comedy (France TV Slash, 2023), co-written with Iris Brey and premiered at the Champs-Élysées Film Festival.
