Preety Dutta is a freelance director, scriptwriter, assistant producer, and the Managing Director of Battle D Cine House, an independent production company dedicated to blending creative storytelling with purposeful content. With a dynamic portfolio of over 200 productions - including dramas, series, TVCs, OVCs, and documentaries - her work consistently explores women-led narratives, underrepresented voices, and socially conscious themes.

Dutta's storytelling is grounded in the belief that films can challenge perceptions, inspire change, and create meaningful social impact. As a female leader in a traditionally male-dominated industry, she actively champions inclusivity, mentorship, and the empowerment of women in all areas of media production. Many of her works highlight strong female characters and advocate for diversity both behind and in front of the camera.

Through Battle D Cine House, she not only directs and produces but also nurtures emerging talents and pushes the boundaries of narrative cinema. She served on the Executive Committee of the Directors Guild Bangladesh (2018-2020) and currently holds the position of Secretary of Law and Welfare. She is also affiliated with Theatrex Bangladesh, where she remains connected to experimental theatre and live performance.

Her international production experience includes working as a Production Co-Ordinator at Sportzworkz, a Singapore-based media company specializing in sports content, which expanded her skills in live broadcast and international media coordination.

Outside the realm of filmmaking, Preety is a passionate animal welfare advocate, actively participating in the rescue, care, and rehoming of stray and injured animals. Her commitment to compassion permeates both her storytelling and her personal mission.

Driven by purpose, fueled by creativity, and rooted in empathy, Preety Dutta continues to evolve as a powerful and authentic voice in storytelling.
