Jacko Carey is a Los Angeles-based producer and creative strategist, originally from Chicago, Illinois.

He's spent his career learning television from the inside out, working on shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Catfish: The TV Show, and Expedition Unknown. Over the years, he's worked across departments, productions, and continents, studying every piece of how good TV gets made. That hands-on experience shaped his approach to storytelling: thoughtful, detailed, and grounded in what actually makes people care.

His storytelling instincts started around the dinner table, where his nightly recaps of the day were so long they became a running joke among his four siblings. A lifelong fan of late-night television, he grew up staying up way too late watching Conan and Letterman, trying to understand how timing, honesty, and chaos could all work together to make something memorable.

Today, Jacko brings that same mix of curiosity, humor, and Chicago work ethic to everything he produces. And yes, he still tells stories in too much detail.
