Henkle was born Tyler Jacob Henkle in Monterey, California and was raised a military brat throughout most of the South eventually landing in Toledo, Ohio for most of his childhood. He is the son of Candace Hanf-David, a bridal consultant, and Keary Scott Henkle, a truck company manager. He has an older sister, Alexandria Ray, and a younger brother, Bailey (Paul) Henkle. At Whitmer High School, Henkle excelled as a student, a standout football player and track athlete. He was also involved in media production and broadcasting for the school. Henkle attended the University of Toledo, where he spent a short time as walk-on defensive back. He then finished his Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice in three years. Henkle spent one of those years as in intern for the Sylvania City Police Department in their detective bureau. In his final year at the University of Toledo he enrolled in the Police Academy at Owens Community College where he was the top cadet setting all fitness performance records in his class before cutting it short due to interests in Law School. Henkle attended Ohio Dominican University (Columbus, OH) for his graduate studies and finished his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in one year. Before he became an actor, Henkle spent his weekdays as an award winning Banker. He accumulated over a decade of experience in Corporate Finance originating, negotiating, underwriting, managing and analyzing over $1 Billion in deals.
