Madelaine is an award-winning Theatre and Screen Director, and Artistic Director of female-focused theatre company, The Thelmas. She was recently shortlisted for the prestigious Sir Peter Hall Director's Award. She was one of three Directors in the 2020/21 Old Vic 12 cohort.

Madelaine's debut short film which she wrote and directed, 'Twitching' (2022), was selected for multiple International film festivals (including BAFTA & BIFA qualifying festivals) and won the Audience Award for Best UK Film at Poppy Jasper International Film Festival in 2023. Her second short, 'For Good Or Ill, Rain Will Come' (2023) is in post production.
