Actress Yanka Avagianou was born in Slovenia on January 10, 1949. She studied acting at the renowned Drama School of the Greek National Theatre, and she graduated in 1971. She is known for As Long as There Are Women (1959), Adelfia mou, alites, poulia (1971), O kamarieris tis bouzouxous (1971), Kafta... psyhra ki anapoda (1971), and O Thanasis kai to katarameno fidi (1982). She also took part in the TV series Cheek to cheek (1996), ...Ystera, irthan oi melisses (2000), and Voitheia geitonoi (2004).
