Xayne Allen was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, to Ty Allen, and grew up in Pittsburgh with his mother and two siblings. He picked up writing at twelve and never really put the pen down.

All through middle and high school he taught himself how to build stories, shape scripts, and format screenplays. In early 2020 he stepped behind the camera for the first time, directing Spellbound and LOR, both of which he also wrote. That became the start of a real creative run.

Since then, Xayne has continued to write, direct, and produce short films, features, and experimental projects that center marginalized voices and highlight communities often left out of the frame. By 2025 his work had expanded across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia through his company, 3BT Productions, where he champions new filmmakers, supports underrepresented storytellers, and builds spaces for creativity, education, and industry access.

Xayne’s growing portfolio includes narrative, commercial, and documentary work, festival-recognized projects, and a slate of new films in development. His filmmaking is rooted in heart, honesty, and a belief that everyone deserves to see themselves on screen.
