Teresa Juksaar is a film director from Tallinn, Estonia. She studied at the Sarajevo Film Academy and later at the Baltic Film, Media and Arts School (BFM), graduating in 2022 with a degree in film directing. Her student film The King won the national competition at PÖFF Shorts (2021) and the Oslo Film Festival (2021). Teresa draws inspiration from life's absurdities and her grandmother, who believed that the ability to find humor in all moments is the only way to come out of this life as a winner. Besides directing, Teresa works as a director's assistant, script supervisor and casting director.
