Christina Wells

Samantha Allsop is a British-born, Australian-based actor, known for her versatile performances in film and television. She stars as Helena Glory in Alex Proyas' science fiction feature R.U.R., alongside Richard Roxburgh and Anthony LaPaglia. Prior to this, Samantha portrayed Christina Wells in the ABC series Ladies in Black and Rebecca in Paramount's Last King of the Cross. Recently, she appeared in Marvel's Thor: Love and Thunder alongside Russell Crowe and Chris Hemsworth. She will next be seen as Annie in Zombie Plane, Tawny in Street Fighter and Charlotte Lawrence in Corey Pearson's horror feature Cry Baby.

Samantha's training spans across the globe, having studied under renowned actors and coaches, including at the Bristol Old Vic and the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). She holds a Bachelor's degree in Classical Greek and Roman Languages, Literature, and Philosophy from Durham University in England.

In addition to her acting career, Samantha is a trained singer, having honed her craft at the Operatic academies in the North of England. She has over seven years of advanced vocal and piano tuition and has also studied the harp.

An avid athlete, Samantha is qualified in various extreme sports, including solo paragliding, rock climbing, and scuba diving, and has completed numerous triathlons and marathons. As an accomplished international model, she has been featured in leading publications such as Vogue, Elle, Numéro, Women's Health, and Grazia.
