Daren is the President of Winery Productions, an entertainment consultancy and production company based in Japan that specializes in bridging the business, creative, and network gaps between the Japanese and global film industries.

He is a former sommelier and wine enthusiast and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Japanese from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

In addition to his work in entertainment, Daren is a sought after public speaker and executive coach for many of Japan's corporate leaders and was instrumental in the creation of Japan's film incentives program.

Daren devotes his pro bono time to the development and expansion of One Young World Japan, Japan's largest platform for young leaders looking to create positive impact in the world.
