Soledad Esponda is a Puerto Rican actress who has built a diverse career in film, television, and theater across Mexico, Miami, and Puerto Rico. Her film credits include the French-American feature "Under Suspicion" (Revelations Entertainment / TF1 International), in which she acted alongside Morgan Freeman; the U.S. short "El primer día", for which she received the Best Actress award at the Miami International Film Festival; and the Mexican short "Celos", awarded Best Drama at the RIFF.

On television, she has worked in international productions such as "Narcos: Mexico" (Netflix / Gaumont), the Italian series "Angeli e Diamanti" (Fidia Film), and several telenovelas and anthology series produced by networks like Univision, Venevisión, and Telemundo, including "Rosario", "Sacrificio de mujer", and "Decisiones".

A seasoned stage actress, Esponda has performed in over a dozen plays across Puerto Rico, Miami, and Mexico. She holds a degree from the University of Puerto Rico's Drama Department and has also trained with renowned Mexican directors, including Luis Mandoki. Her background includes training in flamenco, jazz, hip-hop, salsa, and ballet, and she has performed in several musical and dance-theater productions.

She completed filming Lucy es el 7, which is set to premiere soon on HBO Max.
