Born in Louisiana, Vee Vitanza's love for film was formed at an early age. spending much of his youth going to the movies, watching late night TV, and listening to family tales about his ancestor's, Vee developed an appreciation for the art of storytelling.

Vee's vast life experiences at a young age also impressed upon a love of music as a form of self-expression. Upon graduating high school, vee moved to Los Angeles to study music. Despite the growing success of his band, vee's passion for filmmaking became evermore consuming. after being accepted into the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, he left his band to pursue his true calling.

To get into film school he wrote and directed his very first short film. He had no idea what he was doing, but learned quickly and realized this was something he had to do.

His decision to pursue directing was reinforced even further when he directed three commercials for his senior thesis and won A coveted Clio Award for one of them. vee was also listed in the AICP top 10 for another.

Vee has Since directed many more commercials and his latest venture is a coming of age short comedy called "Truth or Dare" which he co-wrote and directed.
