Nigel Thomas is a multi-award winning director, writer and producer with credits on over 100 feature films and television shows which have garnered over 300 awards, nominations and festival selections including the Palme D'Or, Berlin Silver Bear, BAFTA and Cesar Awards. After running Movie Screen Entertainment, which became the public company Alibi Communications, in 1999 he founded indie powerhouse Matador Pictures, which became one of the UK's leading production companies. In 2015 he partnered with Rick Benattar to found Los Angeles-based Benattar Thomas Productions. With the goal of creating innovative and commercially relevant film and TV projects across all budgets and genres, together they have produced over 30 titles - and counting.
