Richard Oerlemans is an international actor and thriller novelist whose career bridges screen performance and storytelling. He is best known for his role as Chief Inspector Peter in Out for Vengeance (2025) and its sequel Back to Revenge, and for his earlier breakthrough as Joost van den Abeelen in the long-running Dutch TV drama Goudkust. His television credits also include appearances in Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden, Onderweg naar Morgen, Achter Gesloten Deuren, and Gooische Vrouwen.

Oerlemans began his career in the Dutch theater scene, later adding appearances in more than a dozen national commercials.
