Officer Murphy

Mick LeRoy was born in Skokie, Illinois, grew up in Wilmette, and graduated from New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois. Mick caught the acting bug after being dared by a friend to perform for Mr. New Trier.. It was a hit, and inspired Mick to pursue acting. He then moved to Miami, and went to St. Thomas University to earn his Bachelors degree in business management and Communications, while taking acting classes. Mick had great success booking numerous commercials, and made the decision to move to New York so that he could pursue acting even further. He trained with William Esper (Meisner Technique), and Seth Barrish and Lee Brock at The Barrow Group. He developed a passion for improv, and comedy skits, in which he'd perform at the Barrow Group Theater and other off broadway venues. He did numerous skits on Conan O'Brien, and then began writing for different comedy groups. He resides in New York City with his wife, daughter, and son, enjoys mentoring today's youth, practices yoga, and looks forward to ample opportunities that lie ahead . His experiences has given him the mindset that each day is a new life. Living in the moment is everything. Seize the day.
